Lancaster County commissioners today are expected to officially weigh in on a proposal to put a slot-machine parlor in the city. They are expected to vote at their weekly meeting on a proposal to have interim county solicitor Howard Kelin seek legal standing for the county on a petition regarding the slots parlor that will be brought before Lancaster City Zoning Hearing Board Monday. The $150 million parlor, which is being proposed for the Bulova Technologies building, North Queen and East Orange streets, by Manheim Township attorneys Jerome Finefrock and Jim Nettleton Jr., would house up to 5,000 slot machines.
